Privacy policy

Meta Music Media Inc, a Texas corporation, also known as M3 Studios ("M3 Studios," "we," "us," or "our"), runs this online store and our related services from 4503 Spring Cypress Road, Suite B5, Spring, Texas 77388. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect when you browse the site, place an order, book a studio session, buy a digital guide, or get in touch, and what we do with it. Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the site and handles part of every transaction for us. This policy, together with our Privacy Choices page, governs how we handle your personal information, as referenced in our Terms of Service.

What we collect

Most of what we hold is information you hand us directly. When you order, that means your name, your billing and shipping address, your email, your phone number, and what you bought. When you book a session, it means the date, the service, and any notes you send with it. When you email us or fill out a form, we keep that exchange so we can actually help you.

Payment is the one place we deliberately keep our distance. Your card number goes to our payment processors, not to us. We see a confirmation and the limited details we need to complete the sale, handle a refund, or look into a dispute, and nothing more. We do not ask for or store government identifiers such as Social Security numbers, we do not collect passwords to your other accounts, and we do not collect the categories that privacy laws treat as sensitive personal information.

Some information we collect on our own while you use the site: your device and browser, your IP address, the pages you open, and how you move through the store. That happens through cookies and similar tools, and it is mostly the plumbing that keeps a cart working and shows us which pages and products are working. We may also receive information about you from the companies that help us run the store and process payments. If you hire us for a photo or video shoot, the images and likeness we capture are handled under a separate release you sign for that work.

Put in the terms privacy laws use, the categories we collect are identifiers such as your name, email, phone number, address, and IP address; commercial information such as your orders, bookings, and purchase history; internet and device activity such as your browser and device, the pages you view, and cookie data; and the records of your contact with our support. We collect these from you, from your device as you browse, and from the service providers who help us operate.

How we use it

We use your information to do the job you came here for: take and fill your order, deliver your files or schedule your session, and support you afterward. We use it to run and protect the store, to spot fraud and keep accounts secure, and to answer you when you reach out. Where you have consented, or where the law otherwise allows, we use your contact details to send updates, offers, and news about M3 Studios, and you can stop those at any time. We also use it where the law requires us to, such as for tax and recordkeeping.

When we share it

We share your information only with the companies and people who help us operate, and only with what they need to do their part. That includes Shopify, which powers the store; the processors that handle payments; and the partners that deliver digital products, ship apparel, send email, or measure how the site performs. We put those companies under contracts that limit them to working on our behalf. We will also share information when the law compels it, when we need to protect our rights or someone's safety, and as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

We also work with advertising partners to show you ads that are more relevant to you. Sharing information for that purpose can be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some United States state privacy laws, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out of it through our Privacy Choices page, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out for that browser and device, and for your account where we can connect the two.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential, the kind that remember your cart and keep the checkout working. Others help us understand traffic, improve what we offer, and support the advertising described above. You can manage or clear cookies in your browser settings, though turning off the essential ones will break parts of the store. Where a law requires consent before non-essential cookies are set, we follow that requirement.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our marketing at any time using the link in any message or by emailing us, and you can opt out of the advertising-related sharing above through our Privacy Choices page or a Global Privacy Control signal. Depending on where you live, including residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states with comparable laws, you may also have the right to see the personal information we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or opt out of certain uses, and to receive a copy. To make a request, email info@metamusicmedia.com. An authorized agent may make a request for you with proof that you authorized them. We will verify who you are and respond within 45 days, with one extension where the law allows, at no charge except as the law permits, and we will not treat you differently for asking. If we turn your request down, you can appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing us with "Appeal" in the subject line, and if we deny the appeal you can file a complaint with your state Attorney General or the applicable privacy regulator.

Children

This store is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where state law sets that line. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will remove it.

Security and how long we keep things

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no website or system is ever perfectly secure, and we cannot promise otherwise. We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to fill your orders, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve any disputes. After that we delete it or strip out anything that identifies you.

Which law applies, and visitors from outside the United States

We run M3 Studios from Texas, and this policy and any dispute about your personal information are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, handled in the way set out in our Terms of Service. We direct this store to customers in the United States. If you reach us from another country, understand that your information is processed and stored in the United States, under laws that may differ from the rules where you live.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the business or the law changes. When we do, we post the new version here and change the date below, and if the change is significant we will give clearer notice, such as a note on the site or an email to the people it affects.
